Light Curtain Muting Dropping Out

I have a light curtain that is muted as a cart of product exits my system on a conveyor. At a point while the cart is still blocking the light curtain it is released from the conveyor and an operator on the outside of the light curtain pulls the cart the rest of the way. If the cart is pulled to fast the muting shuts off and the light curtain trips and shuts down the system. I do not believe that the speed is the issue but not sure why a muted light curtain would just suddenly drop the muting.

The way muting works is a set of sensors tells the light curtain when to ignore the block. What is almost certainly happening is the cart is being twisted when pulled faster so the sensors are no longer showing a muting condition.
