Will it be code compliance if the light fixture does not have ground terminal? One of my buddies run the circuit to an European made light fixture and the fixture does not have a ground terminal... He was not sure where he can land the equipment ground wire to.

NEC allows EMT conduit uses as equipment grounding conductor, will this satisfy 410.44 rule without running extra equipment ground wire to the light?

There can be such a thing as a luminaire that doesn't require an EGC, - cleat type porcelain lampholders are one that is common, I also see some non metallic vaportight luminaires on occasion that have nothing in them that would need bonded.

An issue with your fixture designed for use in another country is listing requirements. It may be listed for where it was made for, but not listed for use here.

All luminaires must be listed - pretty sure that is stated clearly somewhere near the front end of art 410.
