Light fixtures for fountain walls

What type of light fixture can be installed on the outside wall of a fountain? In other words the light fixture would be providing light for a sidewalk that is directly located next to the fountain. NEC 2014 ART.680 Part V (Fountains) does not provide an answer.

IMHO no requirements for wet or dry niche or special raceway for pools, etc. would apply since the light is not on the wet side of the fountain wall.
But it will be a wet area if outdoors and may be within the required GFCI and equipotential bond area of the water feature.
