Hey guys heres the situation. Just came through hurricane dennis. Were working on the local independant baseball teams field. We throw breaker to what we think and are told are just field lights. Turns out the feed also goes to a light that is bent over and leaning against fence. The wires that are running up the light are touching fence. Not good. We cut breakers off. Finish cutting light pole from base. Unhook wires going up lightpole. Cap feed wires and tape them off. We plan to put new light up as soon as light comes in. Is this in yalls opinion safeguarded enough? If not what else should I do? Thanks

Re: light pole destroyed

Throw the main preferably, or individual breaker(s) in question, then lockout/tagout. Cover your hind end.
