Just got informed I need to have in line fuse holders and fuses within each light pole of a small project. couldn't find in NEC, wondering if anyone can reference the NEC or maybe this is a local AHJ ordinance.

That is typically something found in the project specifications. What ampere rating circuit supplies the poles? What is the load of the lights on each pole?

30A supply, 5 poles w27Watt mogul lamps, single lamp each pole, 480V. total load 3 amps or close to it.
My question was more aimed at whether or not there is NEC for this regarding the in line fuses and holders, I couldn't find one specific to light poles. This is a repair job no spec, but my GM said I need to have the fuses and holders in the estimate. this is the first time ive heard of them being required. Not a huge issue just wanting to know for future projects. thx

I personally like the flood seal fuse holders on each pole. Makes troubleshooting much easier when it's one pole affected.
We put them them on every light pole we install
