So reviewing foundation drawings I came across this. It obviously matters which locations I have short or high footing as it affects my vertical rise of conduit correct?

I know dumb question but I'm asking to make sure there would be no way of coming into the side of the footing or there's another aspect I'm missing.

It doesn't matter where you come into the footing as long as you have at least 24" of cover when entering the footing. Some contractors don't cut the sonotubes down to save on concrete. I always cut mine as short as possible because it made it easier to attach my conduit stubs from under the sonotube instead of cutting a hole in it. Remember though, the 24" of cover is from the final pavement to the top of the conduit. So you can save yourself some depth by adding the layers of fly ash and asphalt and subtracting that from your earth grade.
