I have a small commercial building built in the early 70’s.

It is all NM cable and lighting and receptacles are inter wired . Looks like what ever the next opening was got that circuit.

It’s being converted into general office space with no real loads to speak of.

Anything dedicated I’m pulling in new.

Would you take the time to separate the lighting and power loads or just leave as is.

All lighting is LED, approximately 1600 watts total for the whole building.

There are a total of 18 20 amp 120V circuits supplying 5K sq ft.

"No real loads..." Is there a separate area for a central computer? How about the copiers-- Desktop PCs can add up- especially if they have individual printers!

Sounds like those loads you asked about might be on dedicated circuits.

I agree that anything such as those should be dedicated. Beyond that, I wouldn't go out of the way to separate any of the other stuff

Copiers, Kitchenette space, Large shredder, are all on dedicated circuits.
