Lighting calculations and actual savings

Hello all, sorry if this is a simple question for most of you guys, I just want to be sure I'm thinking about this the right way.

So, we've been looking at a few of our older facilities and finally changing over from HID's to LED hi-bays. It seems like every other day I get someone trying to sell me something with spreadsheets of calculated energy savings and simple payback periods.

My question is, all of these lights are obviously single phase loads on a three phase system. So wouldn't the square root of 3 principle apply to the total sum of the Kwh of the building and actual energy savings? None of the lighting reps calculate it this way from what I've seen, which obviously makes the numbers they provide look 1.73 times better.

Thank You

Basically
(old lights kw - new liights kw) x hrs of use x kwh rate = savings

power already factors in the sqrt 3

Trust me, if they could use the 1.73 to make it look better, they would lol
