I saw this question on my exam asking what type of heating equipment is allowed on a lighting circut having trouble finding any information about that.
Good point. I'd like to know the exact verbiage of the question. What is the definition of a lighting circuit? I cannot find that anywhere in the NEC.
I thought about that section too but I'm not getting from there as to the "what type of heating equipment is allowed on a lighting circuit". Does the NEC mention any specific type of heater that is allowed on a lighting circuit?I would think it was in reference to 210.23 with then possible answer of 80%
No. I admit it is a lousy question as worded but if I had it on a test that would be my guess and move on.I thought about that section too but I'm not getting from there as to the "what type of heating equipment is allowed on a lighting circuit". Does the NEC mention any specific type of heater that is allowed on a lighting circuit?
That's why I chose 422.48(A). Infrared lamps 300 watts or less.I would also like to know the exact verbiage of the question but I wonder if the answer was looking for "heat lamps"
Oooops, I read right over that post. That's why I chose 422.48(A). Infrared lamps 300 watts or less.
