Lighting code changes for SO and SJO Cords with cord grips or non metal takealls?

I would like to know if the NEC Code has been changed regarding cord connectors to the fixture and to the junction box when the voltage is 277volts or 480. We currently use non metal C-500 take-alls on the fixture and at the junction box. Is there a Code reference that states only Compression cord grips are allowed?
