Good evening all I was looking into the code on fixture taps, whips, and wire sizing the other day and I know you can run smaller gauge wire in the fixture because it’s technically a tap at 18”. It had me wondering if lights by manufacturers that pre clip together into long runs say 50-100ft at a smaller gauge are a code violation. Does anyone have any insight? Thank you
