HO calls that one role of fluorescent lights aren't working in his barn. They looked like they were trying to come on. When I opened the light contactor panel I found one of the wires had burned off contactor and only one leg was going to lights. This is 240 volts. On one of the other contactor, the connectors showed that they also been heated. The other two lighting contactor looked fine. Today we got up into attic to look around wires looked good but one lights were thinking broke in the cable ( NM 12/3wgd ) . We have receptacles for these lights to plug into but we need a lift to check connection to receptacle . Why would these heat up like this they're not pulling hardly any amps.
