Can you help me with the layout of the lighting fixtures for this warehouse?

Using Visual Lighting for footcandle calculations as shown in the pictures below.

Would you change anything in the layout, my main concern is the two lights that I placed next to the walls (as indicated on Pic 3), is that bad practice?

Thank You

Is there any racking or other obstructions that will be in the warehouse? That would greatly impact your lighting layout. The lights close to walls wouldn't be too big of an issue in a warehouse. I would also consider adding another column of lights on the south end of the warehouse. The layout you have now has the lights pretty far from the walls.

Think about when you go to Ikea and are picking your boxes, or home depot/lowes. They have specific high bays in a line for each aisle.

so with this ask yourself:
  1. are there aisles between shelves?
  2. What is stored here? Smaller parts/pieces may require more than 50 fc.
  3. Is there a crane?
Does the architect's plan show furniture/shelves? that will 100% impact your fixture type and placement.

My local HD has such poor lighting I’ve used my phone flashlight to read labels.

The only reason I don’t think it’s a problem with my eyes is that I don’t have this problem at other box stores.
