My customer needs flood lights mounted on ground to illuminate a subdivision name and front of guard house. They want LED and sturdy enough to take teenagers kicking it. My old method of a 4x4 coming up out of the ground a few inches and mounting lights to it probably won’t fly with this fancy looking entrance. What is very sturdy and looks nice? Thank you

Put in a concrete base that comes about 4" above grade so string trimmers and lawn mowers won't hit your floodlight. Put a tenon or whatever mount your flood light needs in the middle. You can stain or paint the concrete if you need it to match a certain aesthetic.
