LIGHTING LUMINAIRE AS RACEWAY

I'm aware of the code requiring lights being listed and marked for use as a raceway (410.31) but my question seems like an open interpretation. If I was to run some DC incandescent dome lights for emergency lighting, they 'mount' on octagon boxes, with conduit between the octagon boxes. Since the dome light is 'self-contained', would anybody (AHJ) be able to argue that any additional circuits run through that piping/octagon boxes would violate that section of the code. It's unlikely the dome lights would even be listed for use as a raceway since they are self-contained. Opinions? Thanks!

If the conduit is installed from box to box that isn't using the fixture as a raceway. The wiring is contained within the box and connected to the fixture. Passing condutors through the conduit and through the boxes is fine.
