Lighting Override

I received a building dep. comment stating " Automatic lighting control shall be capable of overriding any time of day scheduled shut off for no more than 4 hours" This is a very small tenant with only 2 circuits on a timeclock. Is there any cost effective way to achieve this? I don't want to spec a 1,000 dollar relay panel for 2 circuits. Occupancy sensors will not work well in this case. I have found timer switches that override, but they do not turn back off within 4 hours.

Two that come to mind are leviton and intermatic, just be careful to read the spec sheets on the products to meet your needs.

Not all the bells and whisltes are all the same.

Also a momentary switch controlling an on or off delay timer controlling a simple two pole contactor, a little more than a twist timer, around $150, but cheaper that the $1000 relay panel.
