Are dimmers considered part of the lighting package or supplied by the the EC.
On bigger jobs they came with the lighting. Actually from the dimmer to the light was supplied. Seemed like a good deal. As good as can be expected with submittals and vendors.
Many of our jobs we have to hunt down the speced items and it’s a headache most of the time.
What is standard practice?
Thanks in advance

If a specific dimmer is only thing that will work with the lighting - I'd say it should be included in lighting package - but to CYA you still need to make sure your lighting vendor was including them and not just assume they are.

Are the fuses part of the gear quote package?
+1 to K's reply, the buck stops with you.

When I send lighting packages out for a buy quote, I always include dimmers and occupancy sensors. I have found tha if you include them in the package the price is less than buying them separately.

I always have them quoted with the Lighting . Specs often call for setup and calibration if the occupancy sensors as well, so make sure your supplier has you covered on that.
