lightning struck in tree and damaged lots of lights about 85 top post lights (120) around the fence and 35 tree up lights 120v, no surge protector were installed and some distances of wire are about 300ft from panel. no lightning protection at 20 acre property (we recommend to have it install)
first picture shows damaged from lighting to lights (light is not UL listed, second picture is location of the lights which top light went out and wall sconce that has a transformer didn't get damaged same circuit, third picture is of a cheap sample UL listed light that has more electronics than first lights, i need help figuring out if all these extra electronics will protect lights better than damaged lights from any excess voltage.
any input will help with lightning protection or extra protection for light fixtures, thank you
