Lights in the top shelf of kitchen cabinets

Any body know clearance issues with installing lights in the top shelf of kitchen cabinets with glass doors. They would be on the top of the top shelf.
The shelf is wood. Just the door is glass.

Functionally, those halogen puck lights get fire hot. I can't recall, however, reading any specific manufacturer's clearance restrictions.

Yes, they wanted puck lights. I told her "what if somebody puts a roll of paper towels in thier". That wouldn't be cool. Puck lights get hot.

LMAO--- I can see it now-- a roll of toilet paper in the kitchen cabinet with glass doors. I love it.....

Why would you install the pucks on the shelf. Why not install them above shining down.

Yeah. They are going to be mounted on top shinning down. You would think their would be a clearance issue like a closet.
This is a nice house now but it will one day be lived in by a bunch of college students. No telling what they will put on the top shelf
Led might be a good option , thanks

Their collection of empty liquor bottles. At least that's what I always see in those environments.
