Lights out at the Giants Cowboys Game

At the new stadium 1/2 the lights went out. They say they have no explination as of now. Anyone care to guess. It cant be breaker or fuse? Right? they would know that..... Thermal ???? Any ideas???

Yea they also said the lights are hallogen.

Someone switching the lights off in the hope of the game being abandoned for betting reasons?

Happened in the UK football leagues, though it was a bit more sophisticted that "switching the lights off"; if I recall correctly they faulted the switchgear.

Some one probably hacked into the EMS, most are internet connected now. Probably what happened to the communications to the missle silos a couple of weeks ago too.

Sounds like some sort of corruption of the data link that controls all of the lighting.

Try this. It's a WAG.
1/2 of the lights went out at the same time. Then back on at the same time. Probably like a 100 circuits all at once.
Try the lighting control system program or maybe some evil twin (when drinking) of a system operator.
Couldn't possibly be the LUTRON lighting control system.

Do you suppose they disinterred Hoffa from the old stadium and re-buried him in the new?
