I work for a hospital. They Bring in other contractors to do testing on LIMs. Obviously, you have to have them tested prior to putting panel in service but
Under NFPA 99 LIM (Line Isolation Monitors) are to be tested no less than every 12 months. They are considered Electrical Testing Equipment which need to be calibrated every 12 months, but we have self-calibrating/self-testing LIMs in place at most of our 30 Isolation Panels.
Is anyone familiar with the testing requirements and process with LIMs according to NFPA 99 Standards?

I confess this is not an area of special expertise although it appears an LIM is essentially a hospital grade GFCI. That said, does this help:
6.3.3.3.2 Line Isolation Monitor Tests.

The line isolation monitor (LIM) circuit shall be tested after installation, and prior to being placed in service, by successively grounding each line of the energized distribution system through a resistor whose value is 200 × V (ohms), where V equals measured line voltage. The visual and audible alarms (see 6.3.2.9.3.2) shall be activated.
