We have a 4000 amp service 480v secondary with 6 - 500 kva trans where in 70e can i find the rules for the limitations on using the tasks tables? Can a company use the tables with there safety plan on any size service or do they have to comply with arc flash survey if it is out of limits ? What option do they have with this?

If using the tables in 70E, the notes are essentially the limitations. If a calculation is done, the limitation is the level of incident energy and the associate PPE category.
There is no limitation related to a 4000A service or 480V rating alone.
