Line and load in same raceway

I had a lineman tell me today that I could not share a gutter (square duct) with his feeders. He said protected and unprotected could not share space. I say my disconnect is protecting his feeders anyway so what is the difference? Any NEC codes that apply? He could not site any and I went all through art 240 and found nothing.

I guess that is my point, are they not still service conductors after the first OCPD? I want to come off the load side through the gutter and then feed a 200 amp panel. At what point are they not Service conductors anymore?

No they are not service conductors after the first means of disconnect, they are feeders, or branch circuits. 230.7 says they can't be together after the disconnect

My take, they are branch circuit and feeders after the main, so you can't have your service entrance conductors sharing a raceway with branch circuits or feeder...

230.7 does apply!
