I have a line voltage switch pack that is used to control a lighting load from a low voltage occupancy sensor. The switch pack will be located inside of a junction box with both class 1 and class 2 wiring in the same box. Can I run the low voltage occupancy sensor wires in the same pipe as the 277 line voltage wires if I use 600v rated wire? Reading section 725 I'm believing that I can but just need to reclassify the class 2 wiring as class 1 wiring. What do I need to do to reclassify this wiring. Just relabel the switch pack as class 1?

You can only re-classify if the equipment is listed to do so. For example consider typical HVAC thermostat which is class 2. There is no provision to re-classify it as it is not listed to do that. That said, many 0-10 volt ballast are listed to re-classify.

wouldn’t the power supply need to say class 2 only?
