That is not refering to "line and load" conductors per se, it is refering to "service conductors" and load side conductors from the service equipment. In most other cases it is allowed otherwise we couldn't feed a switch and run the switch leg in the same raceway.I didn't think there was an article that stated you could. VFD's are different animals and the manufacturer may have issues with it, but it is not a code violation with the exception of maybe 110.3(B)Ok, maybe im wrong. We have a situation with one conduit coming out of a VFD down in the slab to the first floor and was going to set a box, but wasn't 100 percent sure. I will take a look at that article. I assumed it was like put a nipple to a lighting contactor from a panel and going to the contactor and back out to the panel with the loads.
