Can anyone truly define the line and load of a circuit breaker? Does UL or others list circuit breakers with line or load criteria?

UL has a marking guide "molded case circuit breakers" I belive its available from the UL web site. It states
A circuit breaker may or may not be marked Line and Load. If it does not have this identification, then it is acceptable for reverse connection.
My copy is dated 8/98, you will want to get the most current version.
