So a common AC supply or a common DC supply.
One 300kW rectifier or 100 3kW rectifiers.

One common AC supply via a single line reactor no bigger than 10 times the KW of a single drive.

That works in well with our thoughts of two or three feeders with taps to a fused disconnect at each VFD/fan.
