I came across a communications cabinet that contains a shelf with rectifiers and radio equipment where the contractor
entered the cabinet with conduit and ran unprotected THHN line volt conductors to the rectifiers.
The conductors were just tie wrapped to the interior frame. There were also -48 volt DC conductors in the same cabinet
which are normally run unprotected.
Usually line volt conductors on equipment are protected until they terminated in the connection enclosure.
Is this type of installation legal?
