I don't post often, but I have spent time well on this site as well as other sites like it, and I can't express how much beneficial influence it has had on my career as an electrician.

I have recently been dabbling in managing commercial construction projects with a builder and often find myself overly dependant on my subs and inspectors and architects to resolve conflicts of interpretation in other areas of the code, particularly IBC.

Do you guys have any recommendations to other forums that are like this one in nature, (expertise, professionalism, a spirit of helping and learning) that deals with other building codes?

I haven't yet looked through the "building codes for electricians" on e-c.net, but I thought if you guys knew of an ICC forum that you participate in.

The types of issues are when a wall needs to be a particular fire rating, when and how to classify building types, when particular glazing requirements apply, etc. How to size structural studs, difference between smoke rating and fire rating etc.

the electrical energy that can be observed as waves with electroencephalographic equipment. These rhythms and patterns have been organized into a system that imputes values for the state of health and disease. Electrical evidence of it in the cerebral cortex reveals that different potential patterns are produced by different states of mental activity

Eprice, that is exactly what I am looking for. Thanks.

480, that contractor talk looks worthwhile too.

John, good site. I am familiar with it. they have a "building code for electricians" area that I am not sure I have fully taken advantage of yet.

Greenfin, missed whatever off topic thing you had to say.

Thanks!
