You are supposed to fasten liquidtight flexible metallic conduit within 12" of the conduit's termination, and then there are 4 exceptions.


It is allowed to be unsecured when fished, and 3' when flexibility is necessary, and 6 ' when used with luminaires.


I think that requiring it to be fastened within 12 " in any situation is unnecessary, and it makes a much nicer job to let the LFMC loop in a more natural way. I'd like to see the 12" part deleted, and just allow it to be 3'.

OK so it won't change the world.... it'd make me a little happier:)
 
Make a proposal.
My comment is we often use LTFMC to make our installations easier, where no flexibility is required at all.
 
They also need to ammend 680.?? to extend the length of liquitite to something reasonable for a spa install. Just stupid the way it is. 6' max.
