The section I am looking at is NEC 351-A....

Is there anything that limits the length of Liquidtight Flexible Metal Conduit or is it just good practice to change from Rigid Metal Conduit at a location close to where flexible is required?

I just saw where an electrician used flexible everywhere.

Check out 620 & 680, each limit the use in there own application to 6'. 300.22 limits it to 4'
But as a broad general rule, no set limit.
I wouldn't do it!

The site is a duplex waste water pump station
with two 20hp pumps.
I wouldn't do it either, it looks terrible.
