I want to change over to a short piece of LFMC @ some floor boxes we are installing to make the installation easier! We have a rack of conduits going to these boxes & some of the conduits are 1 1/4 & I wanted some opinions! According to article #350.10 "Uses Permitted" LFMC can be used underground as long as requirements of article #300.5 are followed!
Normally we would not do this but given the size & amount of conduits entering each box & not to mention coming from the same direction, it just seems as it may be easier tie them in to the floor box using LFMC if allowed.
The floor box locations have been blocked out by the general contractor so he can move ahead with his pour. The engineer has gone back & forth on which "RFB" he wanted to use & as we know" the pour must go on".
