Listed connector for bare copper #6 awg

Is there a connector available that is listed for bare copper #6 and/or #4 awg grounding wire? We've used 1/2" black plastic button connectors in the past, but they only list Romex in the spec sheets. It would be used for the water pipe ground coming into the panel.

Yes, there is a listed connector. It is called a “kenny clamp”.

But there is no code section that says you have to use a connector at all.

As Derek points out, a connector is not required by the NEC.

Other companies besides Kenny make fittings for this purpose. Bridgeport makes some nice ones too:
