I need to fill about 35 enclosures with a listed potting compound. 680.52(B)(2)(a)

Way back in the day (+25 years ago), I used paraffin wax. It was inexpensive, removable, and reusable. But was it listed? I don't know, and I can't seem to find a supply house that will sell the wax or the heating equipment.

Is there such a thing as 'listed' paraffin wax? Or did 3m drive this point home when developing the market for their reenterable potting compound? (Scotchcast 2132)

Paraffin wax < > is that not an oil based product. Frankly it has a very low melt point.

I researched myself, the Term "Potted"; last weekend and found the reference to transformers and other like products.
Frankly I've seen the term thrown around and the exact reference is deminishing in respects to my research.

I must be missing something as to what your thinking or as to your exact application.

Not unusual on my part, might I add... :)
