Anyone have any recommendations on literature for new electrical designers that will step them through the NEC and other common points of design?

Thanks!

That's a pretty broad application. What are they going to be doing:
Residential?
Commerical buildings < = 2 stories?
Commerical buildings > 2 stories?
Industrial plants - process?
Industrial plants - mfg?
MV distribution?
on-site generation >400kw, or parallel gen/utility

These are all pretty different.

Also, the NEC is a list of minimum standards - it is not much of a design specification document.

Definitely commercial 1-2 floors. Mainly power design with a little bit of lighting. Just trying to get them something to go by.

Thanks

IEEE Gray book? It's a little old though.

MH has a exam prep text - I've never read it.

Stallcup has a design book. It's mediocure.
