Good morning. I have a problem that some of you may be familiar with and I am interested to see what, if anything, can be done to alleviate said problem. I live in a remote part of Texas where there are few licensed electricians and even fewer elec. contractors. I have for the past two years been through a number of "helpers" who, for whatever reason, don't make the cut. My one good part time helper and I can only get to so many jobs physically. The problem is that I could do so much more and really grow my business if I had the manpower. There have been a number of bigger commercial jobs that I've been invited to bid. I don't even submit a bid for this very reason. Plus, I'm not getting any younger and crawling in an attic is less appealing all the time. I just wanted to know if any of you have had this problem and what you have done in response. Thanks

Everyone has that problem, next time you see some kid with his pants around his knees who wants to move papers around for a living slap him upside the head and tell him to go learn a real skill.

Is making your one good helper a full time employee a possibility?
