S & C has good reputation for load break switches with higher voltages and amps.
I have specified them, had them installed and they actually work.
When they say "Alduti-Rupter", they are not kidding.
You can see the S & C switches on the pole lines (if you are a dork like me) if you walk around and stare up at utility poles all day long.
I'm sure the Southern States switches are just as good, just not as familiar with them.
In the spec sheet, you need to see the word "load break" which both manufacturers clearly state.
