Have a Condo with an existing 100Amp Panel with the 125 Amp Main Breaker remote at a Common Electrical Room with the Meter. My Question is that I am Doing a Panel Change with a Leviton Smart Panel and Breakers. What is the correct Load Center Box I should spec? Can I use one with a 125 Amp Main at Panel and have 2 Main Breakers? or simply bypass the 125 Amp Main at Panel? Licensed Electrician will be Installing w/ Permit, just want to have correct equipment on Hand!

It would probably be best to let the license electrician select the equipment he needs. He will know what is actually available these days and what is actually needed.

I agree that it would be best to have the electrician check the actual site. There are some variables such as conductor size that could effect the correct answer. As far as the panel, you likely be safe with 125 amp panel.

We have had a couple of posts on the Leviton Smart Panel. It’s a newer product and it acceptance will determine it being continued as a product. Suggest you search for those posts
