There are about (50) pieces of mechanical equipment with electric reheat ranging from 5-10kW each.
The mechanical person has noted that the units only require a small fraction of the overall maximum heating capacity of each unit.
For example
Unit #1: 8kW heating element. 5kW maximum design need.
---
All of these units will be tied into the BAS where the maximum will be programmed into it.
If the BAS is listed as an EMS, will this allow us to plan for utilizing 750.30(C) and 220.70.
This will make a considerable difference in service and feeder size calculations.
Interested in hearing everyone's thoughts.
