Duplex w/ 120/240v. single phase service, 1900 sq. ft.
7 kw range
10 amp disposal
11 amp dishwasher
3 kw hot water heater
20 kw heater
(2) 21 amp 240 v. A/C

Figure in Standard finding service in Amps.
A) 220
B) 240
C) 278
D) 300


Then the same question in Optinal.
A) 277
B) 255
C) 240
D) 225

Please help I understand everything on the question except the part where its a Duplex dose that meen 1 building = 1900 sq. feet or Being its a Duplex (2) each tenant 1900 sq feet and then again it shows 2 a/c units is that 2 per or they each using one and if so then why only 1 range plz help my brain is frizzled on this question :confused:

Based on the answers given, it must be (2) 1,900 ft? units with all that equipment in each. A single 1,900 ft? unit wouldn't require much over a 100 A service.

How do you get the "square foot" right?

I've been fiddling, can't figure it out.
