Location of Philadelphia PA, local

I'm heading down to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Whenever I travel, I like to stop and pick up a hat or T-shirt from the local. Anyone have info. on where is it located? Also, could anyone recommend a good hotel near the hospital? Also, any good sites to visit and/or eat?

I live in NJ, but used to work in Philly.

I would say the Oregon Diner on 302 West Oregon Avenue in south philly, or Papi's on 3120 20th. Papi's is the best, I would go there. Not too fair from center city.

Now the best place to stay is probably near the air port, or if you have the money...Rittenhouse Square near the Library....
