I noticed that some of this forums longtime members have a location listed next to the amount of posts.

I have seen the members state in this spot.

This is not available in the profile section with the current setup. It must be info from the old forum.

It would be nice to see what state that the member is from in their posts. It makes a difference to the response sometimes.

Just a suggestion. :)

I've added a location to my signature. I'm not sure I'll keep it though. Don't want everyone to be calling me up when then need engineering support. :D

What are the mechanics of the signature?

When I turn it on and put something in the box, is it a global change that shows up on all my posts? New and old posts?

Yes new and old but it only shows up on some posts, at least the first one you make to a thread.

There was also a thread awhile back about putting our photo in the profile. I notice some did and others didn't. :)
