Long distance grounding

I supplied a guesthouse off a main panel that is 310 feet in distance. Do I run my two hot conductor and grounded conductor and reestablish grounding at the guesthouse or do I have to carry a ground from the main panel?

Look at 250.32(B) but it depends on what code cycle you are under.

Tucson is under the 2011 therefore you need to run 2 Ungrounded, 1 Grounded and an Equipment Grounding Conductor as well as installing a Grounding Electrode System at the sub panel location. Sounds like you will have some voltage drop considerations too.
