Longevity of stationary engine-generators

Hello,
How long would a stationary generator set expected to last with proper periodic maintenance? Liquid propane engine driven generator operated a couple times a year.
And does this depend on who you buy a generator from? CAT, Cummings?
What are your thoughts?

Depends if it’s a 2 pole 3600 rpm or 4 pole1800 rpm. Generacs are 2 pole. Cummins makes a good genny, Cat as well

Look into kubota lowboys, so far they are holding up very well. But its diesel...
They do have different fuel options..
