Looking at circuit tracers

I am looking for feedback on circuit tracers. Currently I am looking at three and I am getting mixed reviews from the sites I have been looking at them on. So, I am now going to do what I should have done from the start. Going straight to the professionals.

Here are four that I have gravitated toward:

Greenlee CS-8000 Circuit Seeker Circuit Tracer

Ideal Industries 61-958 SureTest Circuit Wire Tracer

Amprobe AT-2005 Advanced Circuit Tracer

Amprobe AT-4005CON Advanced Wire Tracer

Thanks for any advice you all may be able to give.

I like the Amprobe 2000 series. I don't know anything about the 4005.
Reading the description it sounds like the Greenlee style which I have used and hate because it automatically adjusts for everything. I hate that. I mean really hate it

I can't speak to any of the tracers, but I will say this: I have an Amprobe INSP-3 which is actually made by TASCO. I had some issues with the first one and contacted Amprobe technical support. They were real peanut gallery types. I then called Tasco and spoke with Steve. He provided all the answers to my questions, and offered to put me through to the engineers if I ever needed that. Hands down, some of the best tech support I've ever experienced! I wouldn't hesitate to buy one of their products.

I don't know about the ones that you have mentioned but I have seen this one at one the Electric West Shows in Vegas and it was very nice.

The only concern I have with the CMT24S is that my main application is fault finding. This tool seems that it would be excellent for circuit distinction for certain tasks. But does not seem to be much into finding faults as are some of the others??

I have the Amprobe CT-326B style for nearly 25 years now, it works great because it does not "inject" a signal that bleeds off to everything else like the others do, it draws a pulse off of the circuit it is tracing which greatly reduces false positives. I can find a single wire in a bundle of 100 quickly and easily with great accuracy. The only drawback is the frequency that it operates at can be interfered with by other electronics such as computers, which may drown out the pulse. I think the newer ones have switchable frequencys to alleviate that problem.

I've had the Amprobe 4000 series (two of them) and the Ideal. You can have my Amprobes. They are junk next to the Ideal. Especially like the digital readout and 4 sensitivities. Also, the high-power injector works on standard store bought batteries.
