Does anyone know where I can find a Arrow-Hart & Hegeman "midget relay"? This is a simple 110v SPDT device that fits perfectly in its dedicated space. I am trying to avoid modifying the enclosure thats why I'm looking for an exact replacement. This relay was stamped Oct 20, 1944. It stopped working in the summer of 2005! They don't make 'em like they use to :) I can't find this thing on the net. The cat#28304. I can't find a cross ref for this.

What type connection, plug-in, solder tab or what? Enclosed or open? dimensions.? There are a few suplus electric supply places that list Arrow-Hart.

Its a N.O. relay the connections are screwed onto the terminals. The relay sits in its own dedicated space. The coil and its components are not enclosed as we would see them today. They sit on a plastic terminal block.

Re: Looking for an A-H&H relay

did you try to find a relay that fits into the same space.

I have noticed that they keep getting smaller over the years.

Re: Looking for an A-H&H relay

The project can sit for a week or so... If I can't find an original replacement then I will use a modern relay...

Re: Looking for an A-H&H relay

Torint, what are the specs of the relay you need: coil voltage, contact ratings, contact configuration, physical size constraints (mounting space), etc.?

Duh! A I need to do is read the post! (120v, SPDT) Well, the rest still applies.

Re: Looking for an A-H&H relay

Thanks a lot guy's... looked for this special obsolete part...could not find it. I will use a Square D relay...just modify the machine a bit...bottom line to the customer is: it works fine. I just like to make things look like they did when it was originally manufactured. Again, thanks
