Hello all,

I'm trying to model an old building in SKM, and I've encountered some issues with a few CEFCO fuses, specifically the CRS and CRN models. SKM provided the CRS file, but I haven't had any luck finding the CRN file. I’m wondering if anyone has an old version from previous work that might be useful. I discovered that CEFCO was acquired by Ferraz, and is now part of Mersen, but there is no data available on their website. If you have access to the CRN file or any relevant information, please let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

EasyPower has CRN curves. These are 250 V maximum. I suspect Mersen could provide the data if requested, but if you have a particular size you need, let me know and I might be able to send you a pdf of the curves. AFAIK, there's no way to directly export the data out of EasyPower.

I appreciate your response. I contacted SKM and they were able to provide CEFCO CRN fuses, specifically for 200, 250, and 400A sizes. However, I am seeking a 600A CEFCO CRN fuse. If you could provide the PDF it would be greatly appreciated as it would facilitate the plotting of the file.

Alex,

I sent you a DM.

Back in the 70's there was this National TV ad that had an old fat man
sitting leaned back in an office chair with his feet up on the desk.
He was introduced as the Maytag Repair Man.
He had the best job in America because his brand of appliance never failed.

That was then and this is now. It is now the Mersen Fuse Electrical Engineer
who has the best job in America. Mersen is a foreign owned company
operating in America, and it is the Mersen fuse engineer who is the loneliest
employee in America. His phone never rings because no one even knows he exists
or even thinks to check that the job might still exist.

It turns out that he is a really nice guy. Perhaps a little lonely and
excessively friendly and helpful. Desperate for human contact.
If only you could find his contact information somewhere, anywhere.....

CRN and CRS TCC's fuse curves for the Full Product Line, are in hand.
I'd upload them, but this message box doesn't appear to have attach PDF file capability.
Everything was sent to the SKM Library Guy on Opt 4 on 2-19-25 on the SKM Key Number
of Gregory J Hinshaw PE 13 States, EE Purdue University, Full Time Arc Flash, Short Circuit, Coordination, Study Guy,

Hello Hinshaw,
Thank you for your feedback. I spoke with Jason and tried to ask the right questions. As you mentioned, he is a nice person. We discussed the old TCC data topic, and unfortunately, I learned that there is no information available about CEFCO or even GOULD. The earliest data we can access goes back to the Ferraz era. If we need older information, we might have to reach out to someone who had it in the past and has digitized the records.
