I've got a client that is building an outdoor kitchen. There are recepts & switches in the back splash and he wants weatherproof stainless plates for the device trimout. Anyone know where I can find 'em??

Figured I could find something in marine, but it took a bit.

Take a look at this:

http://www.outdoorsuperstore.com/brand.asp?brand=MARINCO

Then click on: Marine: Electrical: Adapters, Plugs, and Receptacles
and scroll down to FS cover

Hope this is on a McMansion - as these babies aren't cheap. Afterall, an outdoor kitchen, probably got a 50' yacht out in the back.
Wow, that's really cool. I'm not so sure I would be able to personally spring for a 53 dollar device cover, but even regular stuff is getting up there. I paid $9 on Friday for a switch/GFCI RS cover today.

Thanks for the info. The boxes are mounted horizontal which makes it even tougher to find something.

As far as the "bubble cover" requirement. I do agree, but our AHJ has not been enforcing that rule for these outdoor kitchens here. This IS California after all. I think we just adopted the 1953 NEC.
