But I’m having a hard time finding a metal halide hundred watt mogul base as well

So I remember when we worked at the institution we used to be able to switch a multi vapor and a mercury vapor w metal halide ballasts
No hps
but on the lower wattage is I think it was problematic
So I m90 ballast has to have an M 90 lamp? And Ed23 1/2 just won’t do

I guess the main ideas those things are so obsolete that i should just take it away and put in a new LED wall pack

MV ballasts have been discontinued for quite a while, really no reason to have mercs now, IMO.

Remove the guts, leave the socket and install a corn cob LED lamp. Rabb and LED make them. No hazardous mercury to deal with for lamp disposal

You could always do a sample for them, secretly if necessarily, in just one fixture.

480 volt lamps is the limiting factor.

:/ I always liked the crisp blue light and the far throw of MH. The light really punched.
I saw the corn cobs at supply house, but thought they would fail and flicker faster than the rebuild, since the park pack is totally enclosed.
and I know LEDs are supposed to last forever but you always see them flickering on the highway

i also need some big bullhorn floodlights for the parking lot. I’ll see what’s new at supply house thanks again
