Lost fish in fire

A Jersey City woman said several types of fish she's kept for 15 years perished this morning as a result of an electrical fire that started in her apartment.
Jane Doe said she was at work in Secaucus when a neighbor phoned her shortly before 9 a.m. to tell her fire had broken out in her first floor apartment at 464 Pavonia Ave.

Pretty quick forensics work w/o any substantiation?

after you posted this I made a quick call to the fire marshal up there and they have just discovered the following information:

- the "smoke inhalation" that the dog alleged was really a cover up - the dog has since recanted after small amounts of marijuana were found on his person

- there was faulty gfi just above the fish tank, and it appears that the fish were jumping up and spitting water into the gfi in an attempt to purposely and willfully start the fire, egged on by the dog who it now appears was "high" at the time

The local priest was implicated in a possible coverup as he attempted to make a getaway with cadavers of the fish. His excuse? "Tomorrow's Friday!"

Was it the "Son of Sam" dog? That would explain the fish and the GFI.

ahh dog was all pumped up over the giants and patriots..They were just getting head start on super bowl party..they are big giants fans I wonder if he was just trying to get the fish to turn blue..
